ANDALUCIA    In 2007 we visited Andalucia with the intention of finding a holiday home.............but we found so much more. My intention with this page is to give you an idea of the landscape and culture that has become such an important part of my life, and such a strong influence on my art. Los Guajares comprises of three villages in a valley south of Granada. Despite its beauty and close proximity to both the Costa Tropical beaches and Granada it has escaped the influx of tourists seen in many parts of Spain. This is real Spain, the locals dont speak English, the children play in the street, tapas is free at the bar and the fiestas have the best fireworks I have ever seen! Since then we have bought an another two village houses that we are combining so that I can have studio space.
